As part of Family Life International NZ’s commitment to the Auckland Eucharistic Convention, we sponsor at least one pro-life speaker each year. This partnership has turned out to be well worth-while for both FLI and the Eucharistic Convention.
This year, Family Life International is looking forward to hosting John-Henry Westen, editor-in-chief of LifeSiteNews.com and three Sisters of Life; Sr Veronica Mary, Sr Rose Clairvaux and Sr Bethany Madonna. Each of these speakers will have the opportunity to speak both at the Auckland Eucharistic Convention, as well as at various locations around New Zealand.
The value of having such important speakers visit New Zealand cannot be under-estimated. The reach that each of these people have in terms of spreading the pro-life message and equipping people with the tools they need to be effective voices for life is of utmost importance.
Both John-Henry Westen and the Sisters of Life will be speaking at Catholic Secondary schools in Auckland. This is an amazing opportunity for students to understand the issues at hand, the urgency in which we must act, all the while gaining an insight into what it might be to live their Catholic faith through pro-life work or through a vocation to the priesthood or religious life.
They will also tour New Zealand with speaking engagements in the Waikato, Napier, Wellingon and Dunedin. For more information on dates and venues see our website www.fli.org.nz. Information will be posted as it is confirmed.
