Elections This Coming Saturday!

Voting is necessary in particular, and dangerous in general.  Necessary in particular because in exercising that right we have made our position clear – even if it ends up being a wasted vote.  It is dangerous in general as can be seen on the first Good Friday when Pilate offered the populace the choice between Jesus and Barabbas.

Christians are conscience bound to put the life issues as a priority in how they vote.  After all, we serve the Lord of Life who became man that we might have life and have it to the full.

In our case, Jesus is not in the choice list except perhaps as a wasted vote.  But then again the wasted vote is not wasted in eternity.

We urge you to visit valueyourvote.org.nz and download the Value Your Vote guide (by Family First) before you go to the polling booth.
